Past editions of the Korean Culture Festival Nigeria brought countless events that have left long lasting marks in our memories. From singing our hearts out during karaoke, to playing zen archery and even experiencing the lively atmosphere of myeondong market, every experience, every encounter and every moment has shaped what the Korean Culture Festival stands for.
But if you think you’ve seen all that we have to offer, we’re here to tell you that you’re terribly mistaken.
Mark your calendars because the Korean Culture Festival is back for another round! We’re bringing Korea right to your doorstep on Saturday the 28th of November. Brace yourself because this year’s edition is bigger, bolder and more colourful than what you’ve ever seen before.
What is Korean Culture Festival Nigeria ?
The Korean Culture Festival Nigeria is much more than an event. It is a cultural bridge that was created to bring together people that share one common goal, a love and admiration for Korean culture. The Fest creates opportunities to learn about, experience and celebrate Korean culture through immersive experiences centered around Korean food, music, dramas, fashion and traditions.
Beyond the fulfilling experiences themselves, the Korean Culture Festival creates a space to express yourself freely, meet like-minded people, and build a community of people who share the same interests as you.
THE THEME OF THE KOREAN CULTURE FESTIVAL NIGERIA 2026
This year we’re eager to take you on a journey through time with a theme that matches this ambition perfectly: “THE COLOURS OF JOSEON. THEN. NOW. NEXT.”
I’m sure you’re curious as to what awaits you. So here’s a little sneak peak. It’s a time travel experience that will take you all the way back THEN during the Joseon dynasty. There will be hanboks, there will be herbal tea and more than enough traditional activities to make you convinced that you’re no longer in Nigeria. We’ll leap into the NOW and everything about the Korean wave (Hallyu) we’re already very much obsessed with. From beauty to food and lifestyle, we’re leaving no stone unturned and finally, we’ll take a glimpse into the future and discover what comes NEXT for Korea and Nigeria. And as for what to expect, we’ll let you wonder a bit, but all you need to know is that the grand finale is a surprise… (Do you like surprises?)
